All about Salvation (How to Be Saved)

Two of life's most important questions: Do I need salvation? How do I get saved? "Getting saved" means receiving the Lord Jesus Christ as your Savior. We would be glad to help you come to God through the Lord Jesus Christ, either by email or in chat... or you can pray right here! :)

If you have already come to realize that you are a sinner and you need to receive Jesus Christ as your Savior, you can be saved right here and now by praying this prayer:

Father God, I come to You in the Name of Jesus Christ, Your only Son.

I am a sinner, and I can't save myself. I need a Savior. I believe that because of Your love for sinners, You sent Your Son Jesus Christ to die for our sins. Thank You for sending Jesus to give us hope and a chance. I want to receive Jesus now, and be saved.

Jesus, I believe You are the Son of God, and that You died for my sins and that You rose again. I believe that by Your blood, You overcame sin and broke its grip over my life. I believe that You paid in full the penalty for sin, and that I can be saved by believing in You and receiving You as my Savior.

I receive You now, Jesus, not only as my Savior, but also as my Lord. I invite You to come into my heart. I repent of my sins and ask for forgiveness in Your Name.

Father God, thank You for forgiving my sins and bringing me into Your family through the blood of Your Son Jesus Christ. Please fill me with Your Holy Spirit now.

From this day on, with Your help, I will do my very best to turn from my sins and live as You want me to live. And if I slip at times which I will probably do, I will come running to You, confess my sins and receive Your forgiveness and Your strength.

Thank You God for extending Your love and grace and mercy to me through Your Son Jesus Christ, for bringing me into the family of God, and for giving me eternal life! By Your grace, I will walk with Jesus throughout this life and live with Him in heaven forever!

The first step in your new life with God is to find a Bible-believing Christian church. You need fellowship with other believers so you can grow spiritually. Also, you should try to be baptized in water as soon as possible, in obedience to the command of Jesus.
